This restaurant is a delicious secret, tucked away in one of the most beautiful piazzas in Trastevere. As the name “sparita” suggests, it is a survivor of a side of Rome that has disappeared. In the flood of bad restaurants, Roma Sparita represents an island with some of the best pasta dishes in Rome.
Though the menu is short, most people come to eat their speciality: cacio e pepe pasta, a pasta with pecorino cheese and black pepper, served on a crisp parmigiano shell.
In the warm summer months you can enjoy the simple dishes of the cucina romana with a glass of wine directly on the piazza.
